BansheeBoy17 Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 Well I went riding the other day and went to pull my killswitch and the quad kept running. Its worked fine before so I thought maybe the wires came off or something, so I re-did the wiring and it still doesnt work. Can pro design kill switches just break? Quote
TopGunnYFZ450 Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 I have heard on several accounts that they get dirty inside and dont get a good connection. Maybe take it apart and clean it maybe put some di-electric grease in it? Thinking about taking mine apart to clean it just to be sure. Quote
DIRTMAN350 Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 Same thing happened to me. Took kill switch apart and found the metal parts inside rusted and now making good contact. used a wire brush and some sandpaper and cleaned it up. works good now. reccomend using di-electric grease on the inside. Found out that the switches are not 100% waterproof. Quote
