scottt89 Posted August 24, 2005 Report Posted August 24, 2005 My banshee did that the day I got it home from the dealership. Just take a screw driver and tap on the carbs, like said above, float is probably stuck. I also know that my buddy had an issue with his where a tiny seal was not on the carb and caused it to leak. Probably the float in this case. Quote
420banshee Posted August 24, 2005 Author Report Posted August 24, 2005 thanks but when i took the carbs off the floats were moving perfectly fine, do u think it could be hangin up as soon as the bottom case is on it? tryed tapping it it doesnt work, and does anyone think it could be the needle and seat? MDS2106 Posted August 25, 2005 Report Posted August 25, 2005 The rubber on the end of the needles is probably worn, pull out one of the float needles and look to see if it is grooved.Double check you're float height while you are in there. Quote

MDS2106 Posted August 25, 2005 Report Posted August 25, 2005 If they are grooved I would definately change the needles, look on ebay, some times you can pick up a carb kit cheaper than you pay for the needle vlv. at the stealership Quote
