spark plug colour

hey guys. since i just rebuilt my top end ive been checking my spark plugs alot. what colour should they be? mine right now are a nice brown colour kinda like a chocolatey brown. is that right on for jetting or is it supposed to be a different colour? also should the threads of the plug be dry or wet? mine are wet. any other info on this would be greatly appreciated. thanks

i don't go by the threads at all, i look at the porcilen(the white area on the plug to be a nice lite to meduim brown after doing a 5 gear plug chop,if your in the brown your probably good.

The color of the skids in your underwear at the end of the day should match your plugs. Really though that would prolly be close, a moca brown color and a light sheen from the oil mix, nothing excessive.

lmao. thats hilarious. chocolate ,ilk is what i say to people. no white, not even the littlest dot. if u have white, jet one size bigger or up your pilots just a touch....(one size)

ya they are nice and dry and brown. i pulled one plug out before and it was just a lil bit wet but the other was dry as could be. am i right on in jetting or what? and no there isnt any white

I have had the plugs in my banshee for over a year now. And when you say the porcelain color you mean the top of the plug where it says NGK R BR8ES. If so they are completly white, no brown or anything. Is that good?
