im running 13/41 and now i want to switch it up.. to 15/41..

i have.....

fattys

noss head 21cc

trinity 35mm c.v

k&n with no air box..

tires are 21 or 22 i think..

do i have enough power??

 

anyone have the speed/gear link???

You should be fine. Whats your compression? Its gonna feel like a completly different machine than it does now.

if you have 22 in tires you may be better off with a 14t if they are 20in. then deffinately a 15

i made the same swap on my ported shee, well, my rear sprocket is stock, im not sure if 41 is stock, i forget. it made a huge diffrence, i think it was all positive. i now am able to take advantage of the power i have, it pulls much more than the 13 did, the 13 would wind out to quick. you will have to shift less too sine the gears will last longer, that and the top end speed was increased quite a bit, or so it feels. good swap in my opinion.

 

edit:my tires are only 20's so that could make a diffrence in results

matters what tires and what terrain. sand with 21" haulers, you're gonna be fighting an uphill battle moving from the 13 tooth front.

Also your weight plays a role. I didn't like the 15 at first, but I weigh 235.

 

Now that the porting and jetting is dialed, I like it much more.
