DUNEDEMON Posted August 17, 2005 Report Posted August 17, 2005 170 is not going to be enough my man... On a similar set up I run a 220 main, can't recall which needle, 50 pilot, 3mm cut away on the slide (35mm PWK A/S) Start fat and be safe.. Quote
Dunsmoor86 Posted August 17, 2005 Report Posted August 17, 2005 Ported Cylinders Ported reed cages K&N + Outerwear Bored .40 over Head milled .30 Plus 4 timing Fmf fattys Boysen reeds Trinity 2:1 35PWK I run a 175 main and a 48 piolet. DEK needke 3rd clip. Was running 320 mains on stock carbs. Quote
The Rebel Posted August 24, 2005 Report Posted August 24, 2005 So I C you got your 2-1 set-up. 160 is way too small. I run 175 main, 52 pilot, DEG needle 3-4 groove. I tried to run a 165 once, no go. 175 is pretty tight, 180 is a little fat. Rebel Quote
Z28ROC Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 What type of riding do you guys do? I have the Trinity single carb setup with 35mm pwk, and this setup has no topend! It has an amazing midrange hit, then falls flat on it's face just when you need it to pull. I only ride dunes and 90% of that is hillshooting. So clearly this isn't the setup for me. Quote
FIRST BANSHEE Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 I would start with a 190 and go from there, I'm running a 200 main, but I'm also running a 38mm carb, stock cylinders. Good luck Quote
