hittintrees srh Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 Last week, Mexico City Mexico was struck by an earthquake measuring 6.9. It was the largest quake in the nations recorded history. The quake was so powerful that it destroyed a large portion of the citys infrastructure(roads, buildings, homes, etc..) As with most large quakes, it was TOTALLY unexpected. The entire city/country was caught off guard. As a result, many people unfortunatly lost there lives. The last report estimated there were up to 2 million mexicans dead or missing. Soon after the quake stuck, nations started sending aid as quikly as possable. Canada, Spain, France, England as well as many other countries sent tons of food, water, and medical supplys. But the United States, never to be out done, sent 2 million replacement Mexicans. U.S.A. is #1 Quote

yamahanut98 Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 i moved from oregon which is like 17%white and the rest aremexican and african-american to north idah, i go to school everyday and the closest thing to a black person we have is a white guy that thinks he's gangsta in idaho, i thought it was quite funny actually this year we have like 4 but still, it would do us good if we got some diversity Quote
