Price of modding a Banshee?

Hi, I'm a noob in modding ATV's. But I think I'll buy a Banshee but how much is it gonna cost me when I want to mod him all the way. I won't use him for drag's or so just for on the road...

BTW I life in Belgium so...

what sort of riding do you do?

what sort of bansh are you wanting to build?

The sky is the limit. It depends on how radical you want to go. Its not uncommon for $5-6K to be added to a Banshee and I've seen as much as 9k. You probably won't go that crazy with it but I'd expect to spend close to 1500-2000 before you're mildly happy

I'll ride most of the time on the road, and I just want that my shee goes fast and has an exelent acceleration.

if you are looking for bolt on performance....

 

exhaust $400 - $800

carberator(s) $400 - $600

head $100 - $300 depends on if you get a milled head or an aftermarket one

cdi - $100 - $400 depends on if you get a programable one

or instead of cdi advanced timing - $4.00 - $80 depends on if you get a degree key or an adjustable timing plate

 

that is about it for the bolt on performance

 

then you can have the motor ported for around $500 for a good port job

you can have your flywheel lightened to give you more acceleration.

you can stroke it for more displacment.

 

and on and on and on,,,,,,,,,, nos, turbo, you name it they make it. but the bolt on's will make it pretty damn fast.

And sorry if I'm nagging but could yopu also give me some very good factories for the stuff I need???? And will my Banshee still be reliable to be driven all days???

Reliability is determined by jetting, mix ratio and frequent lube and oil changes as well as maintinance.

5$- $50,000 its all in what your looking for powerwise. if yo u want quicker acceleration lighten the flywheel ,mill your stock head ,get some inframe drag pipes ,vforce2,dune port the jugs

like around 1500$ american dollars and youll be just screaming out 4 th gear wheelys down the cobblestone 3 foot wide roads in your home town :blink:but, the local townsfolk will consider you a ufo or alien and likely stab you repeatedly with pitchforks though

Hey Bro Private Message me and i can help u out on whatever u ant, for me what ill do is get some stock stroke cubs ported, and some shearer inframes and u are going to kick ass and be faster than all of the combinations this guys posted up on top and cheaperand ull end up with around over 60 horses on gas, juss my 2 cents please Private Message me and we can talk more bout what u want to do.
