'shee Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 I just replaced my clutch yesterday. It works well and everyting, but i had a couple questions. I put in heavy duty springs, are they going to loosen up at all? And is it fairly hard to find neutral on your banshees? I will be at a dead stop in first gear with the clutch pulled in and i will rev it up, the bike will slowly move foreward. The clutch cable is adjusted right, and the clutch mechanism adjustment has been performed. Quote
NYUK Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 not finding nuetral is normal. if the springs are too stiff, put 3 stockers back in ,every other one.as for the creeping, tryand bend your clutch lever out a lil bit,it will give a lil more leverage.if you don t have some fancy clutch lever. Torque them at 7ft/lbs and the spring tention will keep the bolt from loosening. As for the banshee lurching in gear, mine has done that since day one. Quote
