So as you guys know, I sunk my banshee. This banshee used to belong to POSTAL from this forum. Well, anyways, after I sunk it, I brought it to the shop. The damage? Broken thread on the throttle cable going into the left carb, the airbox was fuct (it was taht way when i got it, Postal conveiently didnt tell me). Also, it had a thrown basegasket, needed new coils, a new cdi, and a new clutch cable. ALSO he said something about the carbs not being anything close to right on it. This repair guy is a Yamaha tech. So bascially, with labor, its gonna be costing me $600+ bucks to get the banshee that i got for 2200 out of the shop. I'm really wondering if it is worth it. How much would an airbox be? Anybody have a whole different set of carbs for it? That would save me some money. The cdi was 260 bucks:o

So really, I'm sad. Been without it since July 1st.

Do some shopping Ebay, or contact me, 1Badbanshee or Nyuk. Plenty of parts to get that up and running again for a fraction of what the shops would want. CDIs go for $50 to $100 just to give you an idea of how bad a shop rips you off.
