Hey All,

Anybody ever run a 22" tall front tire and a 25" tall rear tire? I ride exclusively on the trials and want as much ground clearance as possible. Are these to big for a Banshee?

That big of tires on trails would be fine, I would keep stock gearing though. Might look alittle funny in the back I run 20's and they almost to big, but arn't. And for 22 in the front thats stock, i think....... :shrugani:

I've seen the 22 on the rear its not bad. but 25's kinda ridiculas. If you do a 22 you might need to go down on the gearing a little to compensate. ( youll get more top speed)

I would REALLY stay away from a 25" tall tire. You'd gain a couple extra inches of ground clearance, but I personally think it would handle like shit. I just wouldn't be able to through the quad around near as easily with a big tire combo. And if you absolutely need a 25" tall rear, you need to get a 23" front. I had a buddy that ran 23's in the front, and 22's in the rear on his shee with stock gearing and some very mild motor mods and had no problems.

These guys are right - 25's are going to be way too big. I think 22" are about as big as sport tires get anyway. Plus, 25's may not fit - check the clearance between the front side of the rear tire and the back side of your heal guard...might hit. I just put 22" Holeshots on mine and I ride some pretty rough trails in the hills of Western Mass, lots of rocks, roots, mud, etc. It goes awesome with the 22's and has plenty of room under the rear skid. Mine is pretty stock too, just pipes and some bolt on's, spins them fine. Get some 22" Holeshots or Knarlys and you'll be fine.

You wont high center on anything if you dont put around....I run 20's in the rear and 22's up front. I have some washed out trails around my house and never get stuck
