  1. Hey All, Anybody ever run a 22" tall front tire and a 25" tall rear tire? I ride exclusively on the trials and want as much ground clearance as possible. Are these to big for a Banshee? Lou
  2. Use the correct puller. I got mine from the dealer for around 10 bucks. You can also get one from Dennis Kirk if you want to wait for it to ship. I did not use the correct puller and have to replace my crankshaft. Take some extra time get yourself a small brass parts cleaning brush and a can of "good" penatrating oil like PB Blaster. Spray the threads on the ID of the flywheel and use the brush to clean out any dirt or junk that may be in the threads. Take your time and get it really clean. If not the puller may thread in all the way and you will ruin the pullerbefore the flywheel comes off. Good Luck ! Lou
  3. Hey Guys, After some great advice from this forum I was able to remove my flywheel, without a whole lot of trouble. The problem is I damaged the end of the crankshaft so the new flywheel will not tighten up. Do I have to replace the whole crankshaft? Can I just buy the end piece? How hard will it be to remove and install? What should I do and not do? Sorry for all of the questions I just do not want to make it any worse. Thanks Lou
  4. I would like to thank everyone for there help and advice. I did get the flywheel off. Lou
  5. Hello, I need to replace the stator on my 95 Banshee and canott get the flywheel off. I used a puller from Dennis Kirk, it ripped the threads off. I bought a puller from the Yamaha dealer same problem. I even tried to heat it up, and use a 3 jaw puller and it will not budge. I have a new flywheel and stator assembly from Ricky Stator so I do not care if I scrap the flywheel, I just want it off. I have yet to ride this year and I am going crazy. Any suggestions, ideas, comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Lou
