:D Sup guys im new to the forums... I recently bought a 2001 shee from a friend in the family. Ive ridden it 1 time so far :) Its pretty damn fast seeing how the only thing I ever rode before was a 300ex (friends). So im wanting to mod it cause im into that with cars why not the banshee!!

 

Im not sure whats done to it right so. I know for sure im going to get the flywheel lightened from whoever does it here on the forums :) And I was told to advance the timing along with that. What else to you guys recomend? I saw the nossman heads on his website are those a good part to start out with? Anything I would appreciate it :headbang:

Are the Noss machine heads pretty good Items then? Im thinking about getting those and doing the flywheel first. Im not sure what pipes are on it right now but ill find out... And also the reeds what are the top of the lines? I see vforce 2 reeds all the time were could I get them at? And also messing with the timing are there any write ups on that? Im so used to a car its kinda funky working on this lol.

noss heads are sopposed to be very good,and hes exelant with custermer service.

v-force 2' are good,i have them,and rocky mountain atv sells them cheep.your best bet is to use the search engine on this site at the top of the page to answer all the questions you have and make you own opinion of different parts and companies,cause youll get a million different replys as to witch is the best.

how many people do we know get a banshee, mod the crap out of them, go out and all most kill themselves and then sell them for a 1/4 of what they have in them? the first mod i say-- you. learn to ride, going from a 300ex to a modded banshee only insures your taste in hospital food is about to change.

I went from a 400ex to my shee. All I have to say is after you start modding it- hold the fuck on!

hehe its no problem... I know its different from what I do but im familiar with going fast :)  I do lots of street/coarse and F1 cart racing.  Its time for the dirt now :clap:

I went from a pos lakota 300 to a banshee, no problems. I love my nossmachine head and fmf sst pipes :headbang: post some pictures up of your shee.

not nessesarily true.if hes a decent rider,and he sounds like hes got a good head to race those cart thingys,hell probably do quite well.as long as you dont go nutty and treat it with respect.remember dont out ride yourself,or the bike will out ride you

Pipes and K&N. See jhow that is and go from there. a +4 swingarm is nice in the dunes. You can never have enough suspension. Better than power mods.

So far I ordered Vforce2 reeds... I might buy this trinity lightened flywheel I saw forsale cause I really dont want to take mine out and leave it around cause I keep it at my friends house. id rather just order one and pop it in :) Im ordering toomey t'5 or t'6 when I get paid friday. Is there much difference with the t'5s to the t'6s. After that the noss heads ill probably get and mess with the timing.
