bansheefreestyler Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 i used to mix at 32:1 but now i mix 50:1 cause of my new carb Quote
looking 4 a bike Posted July 5, 2005 Author Report Posted July 5, 2005 cool thanks dude so as my bike is stock i should just keep mixing it at 32:1 Quote
trail rider Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 I run klotz R50 in mine at 40:1. Just one bottle (16 oz) in a 5 gal jug of gas and im all set . I'd say it'd be fine to run it at 42:1 or whatever, as long as your jetting is good, or at least not to lean. Quote
looking 4 a bike Posted July 5, 2005 Author Report Posted July 5, 2005 the oil i use is bel ray H1R should i keep mixing it at 32:1 or go to 42:1? Quote
trail rider Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 I tried some kinda belray oil before, not sure if it was H1R though, but I ran it at 40:1 and it does great. is your banshee broke in yet? if it still has very low hours on the motor than you might want to go 32:1. but 40:1 is better, you dont hardly foul plugs as much and you dont use as much oil. looking 4 a bike Posted July 5, 2005 Author Report Posted July 5, 2005 i got about 5 ,6 hours on it Quote
trail rider Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 well, that seems pretty new to me, I guess just go with the 32:1 for a while till you get some for time on the motor. Quote
Shee-Male Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 32:1 for ever, it dosen't heart to have extra lube, espesally if you plan on riding long high speeds and rpms Quote
ke398 Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 I run klotz 32:1, klotz is awesome, and rockymountainatv has a great price on gallons. Quote
05bansh Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 i go 40:1 with amsoil 388691[/snapback] 32:1 for break in period is fine. Then I would have to bump on the Amsoil 40:1! Quote
CombatTalon2 Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 kotz at 40:1 and i get it at RMATV.com as well, love it! Quote
trex banshee Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 hp2 oil at 32:1 and never fouled a plug Quote
