what ratio do you mix your gas

i just bought a 05 banshee and the ladie at the store told me do it 32:1 and on my oil H1R says to mix it at 42:1 i mixed it at 32:1 but what should i mix it at?

i used to mix at 32:1 but now i mix 50:1 cause of my new carb

Bel ray MC1 at 50:1 never any problems.

I run klotz R50 in mine at 40:1. Just one bottle (16 oz) in a 5 gal jug of gas and im all set . I'd say it'd be fine to run it at 42:1 or whatever, as long as your jetting is good, or at least not to lean.

I tried some kinda belray oil before, not sure if it was H1R though, but I ran it at 40:1 and it does great.

 

is your banshee broke in yet? if it still has very low hours on the motor than you might want to go 32:1. but 40:1 is better, you dont hardly foul plugs as much and you dont use as much oil.

well, that seems pretty new to me, I guess just go with the 32:1 for a while till you get some for time on the motor.

32:1 for ever, it dosen't heart to have extra lube, espesally if you plan on riding long high speeds and rpms

32:1 for break in period is fine. Then I would have to bump on the Amsoil 40:1!
