i am running 300 mains and 27 polit jets mods are listed below. I am having lots of oil out the tail pipes and the bike is really boggy what shoul i be running. I live in michigan and about 900-1200 above sea level. It is 80-90 deg over the summer here.

what is your throttle position when the bog occurs? Read THIS.

I'l tell you what. I think those toomeys like a leaner main than that. 270 or 280 should do it at that elevation and temp.

 

Also, sometimes when people think they have a lot of oil it's actually condisation mixing with the dirty stuff in the silencers dripping out.

 

Since yours doesn't run right though I'm sure you have a problem.

What ratio of gas/oil are you running? 24:1,32:1,40:1, etc.?

that was my first thought. 300 main sounds about right for your mods and elevation. thats what we run here with t5's

i am running 40:1 and it is oil because it collects dirt around the pipe.

The bog is between idle and 1/4 throttle.

Is it a flat dull bog or a wet sputtery bog? Does it ever backfire? Ride around with it for 5 or 6 minutes under 1/4 throttle and see what the plug looks like. Try going up on the pilots to a 30 and see if that fixes it.

i put in 290 main and 30 needle jets and it seams good.
