fast500#12 Posted June 19, 2005 Report Posted June 19, 2005 none of my bars have splines. just degree indicators for referance points. on my pro taper on the shee or the renthal fat bars on my kx 500. Quote
bradbanshee87 Posted June 20, 2005 Report Posted June 20, 2005 sometimes the manufacturers will send an adapter to fit in the clamps to hold onto the bar i have seen them for fat bars Quote

Like the others say, what size did you buy? If you got 1 1/8th "fat" bars you'll need an adapter. Quote
rptorman Posted June 20, 2005 Report Posted June 20, 2005 Could you be talking about the width at the bar clamps? Quote

Its a straight knurl put in the bar to help the clamp grip it. Most fat bars will be further apart on those knurls, but I thought every stock size bar would be nearly the same.... I think you want the clamps on those knurls to be honest. Even though you'd have alot of surface area to clamp on without the knurls, the knurls will hold a hell of a lot better. Quote
