sandman121383 Posted June 14, 2005 Report Posted June 14, 2005 i did a comparison. the bore on the new raptor is 2mm greater than last years. the stroke is still the same. the fuel injection is a sweet idea though. i hopped over onto the banshee first snd saw "it's the end of an era" , this one's for the banshee and all u proud owners out there just like me. racer Posted June 14, 2005 Report Posted June 14, 2005 i went back and read over the 450 specs for both yamaha and honda, and damn. if suzuki doesnt come out with one ass kickin ball stompin quad then the yfz450 is gonna reign supreme muthafucka. more suspension, more radiator and more motor for the same weight. this is good times for the quads. scottt89 Posted June 14, 2005 Report Posted June 14, 2005 I must say, the YFZ is bad ass. My buddy and I raced, he has an 05 YFZ w/ just a filter kit and a FMF pipe. I have an 05 Shee w/ Spacers, Filter Kit, Dynoport pipe. That YFZ smoked the Banshee. We switched bikes, YFZ still smoked it. We didn't get enough space to get the quads fully pinged but when I was slowing down on the YFZ I was atleast 2 bike lengths ahead. As for the Raptor, always were, always will be junk. Quote

The thing is completely new!! I think it is the biggest change it a sport quad EVER! looks like the industry is finally on a roll, good times! Quote
