dune_girl Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 damn jen sorry to hear that...sucks that people are such assholes and to lazy to work for their own shit... my brother came home sunday night---he had been at a barbeque drinkin and hangin out with some friends...when he got home he was goin in his backdoor and it was unlocked...then he realized his car had been stolen...we called the local police and they came over to take a report...it was weird bc nothing in his house was missing or showed any signs that somebody had been in there...well a couple days later he got a call from the st louis police department...they found his car....earlier in the day a male was seen driving the car...but the reason it was recovered....2 girls were driving it...they believe that they were selling drugs from the car---got in a shooting...and one of the girls got shot in the FINGER... When he went to pick the car up from the impound lot..they told him that one of the girls had come there to pick it up...she said she had bought the car from somebody..its weird bc they had my brothers EXTRA set of keys...still have no idea how they got in his house...anyways to make a long story short my brother got his car back....but it has some new character 11 BULLET HOLES!! jen....hopefully everything works out and you get it back---not very many gal riders out there...we dont need to lose one Quote

broke Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 Whas it in a shed? or somewhere easy to get to? 377946[/snapback] Easy enough to get to, I guess. Sorry to here about that. I would prefer one of my cars were stolen over my quad. Quote
SHEe DEVIL Posted June 5, 2005 Author Report Posted June 5, 2005 The people did go through the garage we could tell cause there was some stuff laying around and the netting on the front of the racecar was torn off. I dont understand why they would take just the banshee and not my street bike that was sitting in there too. I mean it would make alot more sense to take that since with the banshee you have to trailer it everywhere. But on the other hand they could be tearing it down right now and selling the extras that were on it seperately. Im beguinning to think it was somone who knew us that took it. Also in the last few months I must of had a dozen people come up to me and ask if I would sell it to them and of course I said no. Im still hoping ill get it back though. Jen Quote

Theives are stupid, and if you think its someone you know, they might just ask you if you've ever found out who stole it, even if you haven't told them. Its an old trick my dad said has worked for him. If its someone you don't know, chances are you won't ever know who did it. BUT if they knew where it was in a shed/garage, I would say it was either someone that knew you, or someone that has a friend that knows you, plus the fact they didn't take anything else. They were after something specific, not just smash and grab type shit. Quote
