alright, that time of the year again where i've busted another swingarm, I am looking for a used one, pretty cheap so stock preferably, but a -2 would be nice for the right price.

I'll probably be living in Plymouth, its where im' planning on going to school, i'm still in georgia for now, but I should be home in June next year.

how big is this up in the northeast? i know down here in georgia it pretty much doesn't exist. But I'll be moving back to NH next spring, and I'd like to get into it if its worth it. Thanks, Chad

that should be fine, I'd do 32:1, but i guess 28:1 wouldn't hurt if your a little worried about it.

when I break in I use, castor 927 at 32:1 for about 2 tanks, then i switch back to synthetic oils are 50:1. I heard that using a synthetic from the beginning won't give you a good break in, and yeah 16:1 is too rich.

races that i've done, that actually required number plates, required me to have plates on the front and rear bumper, the numbers on the fenders didn't matter. but those are GNC's.

that does sound pretty cool, I'd like to do some desert riding, but I don't see myself going out west anytime soon. I've been to Yuma, AZ, and LA, but I didn't have a quad with me either of those times.

yeah same here, lots of "tire popping" hazards, downed trees, REAL tight trails, open fields. w/ a random jump in the middle to try and kill you (seems like it anyways) we have a few rocky sections and water crossings too.

i harescramble locally in GA, and I have been trying to hit as many GNCC's as possible as of recently.

try some blue loc-tite this time, will help keep that from happening, but will be a little harder to get them off.

who made the swingarm? got any pics?

Don't know much about timing, but did you do some big mods during rebuild? maybe your just not getting enough fuel to your jugs? have you tried going up in pilot? probably a long shot, but hopefully someone can help you out better.
