Brian060 Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 I can't believe nobody has mentioned suspension. The baddest engine is gonna be useless if you can't use that power. Personally I like TCS but Elka and Axis are right up there as well. Here's how I'd do it: New chain/sprockets Foam filter Remove TORS PRM swingarm skidplate Handle bars & twist throttle Fatties tires Nerf Bars -2 swingarm and TCS all around Lighting (if you do much night riding) v force reeds woods port noss head or similar Single Carb (if you keep it dry) That'd be a pretty good start. 377120[/snapback] What, the single carb doesnt do good in wet conditions? dumper_uk Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 Sounds like the chain problem is the rubber engine mount bushes are worn...I had the same problem,I knew what it was right away cos it happened on my old rd350 too. There are 2 at the front 2 at the rear and tie rods under the engine. You will prob find that the rear bushes have gone, which lets the engine turn sideways under power and causes the chain to run off. I just finished changing mine yesterday, not a nice job,but makes it much better. Quote
