macgillivary Posted May 27, 2005 Report Posted May 27, 2005 ok so i blew the top end in my banshee and while looking on ebay for parts i came across rz cylinders, which i thought would be super cool to put some powervalves on my banshee right but upon further inspection i noticed how the exhaust pipes mount on the rz is much different than the banshee is there any way possible to put the rz cylinders on the banshee? to make your pipes fit to those screw mounts on the rz cylinders? because i could not see on the rz motor where the banshee pipes would slip over thanks Quote
Bc34c Posted May 27, 2005 Report Posted May 27, 2005 http://www.geocities.com/kiwi_craig/Bnashee.htm here some pics of the difference between banshee and rz cylinders. Quote
stclark816 Posted May 27, 2005 Report Posted May 27, 2005 There are a few people on BHQ that do run the RZ cylinders. Im sure they will chime in.... Quote
macgillivary Posted May 27, 2005 Author Report Posted May 27, 2005 wicked thanks i seen the difference but that was a really good view of it somebody who does run them can you please post pictures or what exactly you did to make your pipes work with those cylinders thanks Quote
rzcolobanshee Posted May 27, 2005 Report Posted May 27, 2005 Don't have any pics at work....I just had a muffler shop make em Quote
macgillivary Posted May 27, 2005 Author Report Posted May 27, 2005 since the front water pocket on the rz is bigger does that mean the front stud is farther up? like can i use my modquad head on those cylinders or do i need the rz head too? Quote
2004LEBanshee Posted May 27, 2005 Report Posted May 27, 2005 I think you need some other stuff too other then cylinders like electrical components. Quote
rzcolobanshee Posted May 27, 2005 Report Posted May 27, 2005 will need head, and all the electronics, including stator/flywheel Quote
broke Posted May 27, 2005 Report Posted May 27, 2005 Cylinders bolt right up, Banshee heads can not be used, all electronics are different, yes it is worth it. Good luck Quote
