tithead Posted May 23, 2005 Report Posted May 23, 2005 iv got a set of omf beadlock rear klaws on the back. if i dont go out and ride for a couple of days, the tires seem to deflate. is this because the bead isnt on tight enuogh or a dodge valve?? i have checked for holes and whatnot in the tyres but i cant find any. any ideas??? tithead. dajogejr Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 Put about 7 or 8 lbs of pressure. soak em with a hose, and rub a little dishsoap on em all over. Not a lot, just enough...it will bubble much more noticably than just water alone... If you don't see it bubble up, then let a little air out, or...as much as you normall run. Don't forget to put a little soapy water in the top and around the valve stem. Quote
racer Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 hey tit, whats a dodge vavle? but that whole air bubbles thing is a great idea if you have a big enbough tank. if you dont mix up a solution of a little dishsoap and some water in a spray bottle. then coat them mothers and look for forming bubbles. plus then you dont gotta wrestle around a big wet tire, kinda like stclark's mom. j/k stephen.
