justinklumb29 Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 Iam going to be finishing my engine and dropping it in in the next couple of weeks. I have to go get some jets and was wondering around where i should be with gorr's wood port, fmf fattys, and boysen power reeds. Iam thinking somewhere in the 300's? Thanks Justin Quote
justinklumb29 Posted May 12, 2005 Author Report Posted May 12, 2005 i never got your email i dont know if it is right on here. it is [email protected] Quote
justinklumb29 Posted May 13, 2005 Author Report Posted May 13, 2005 instead of fattyhs i now will have pt mids if that would make that much of a difference Quote
sredish Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 The PT's will probably be a jet size smaller. Quote
stclark816 Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 You should try those Fattys out on it. Either those or get you some Toomeys. I had the Toomeys on my Gorr ported motor, and I loved it. Those PT's are prolly gonna make it sign off a little earlier. Try both. Quote
justinklumb29 Posted May 14, 2005 Author Report Posted May 14, 2005 so you guys think the fattys are a better pipe than the pt mids. I was going to trade and have not completely finalized it yet? Quote

sredish Posted May 15, 2005 Report Posted May 15, 2005 The PT's are going to sign off a little earlier, but, the it comes on so much earlier and faster and pulls so smooth that you can come out of corners much quicker and easier. It's also easier coming out of the hole. Just have to decide what kind of riding your doing. The PT's are awesome pipes, they just have their place, as do CPI's and Rockets. Quote
