. Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 (edited) If I remember correctly they look almost exactly like my outer flap of my dual stage boyeson epoxy reeds. And as far as the carbon fiber thing. I went out to check the stock cages I have out in my garage, I can guarantee they are stock (still even have the white mark on the screws from the factory). I dont have my camera, but the reeds almost have a carbon fiber look to them. They are dark, and then there is a carbon fiber pattern sorta. They arent carbon fiber, still definitely epoxy, but they do look like they are woven or something Edited May 10, 2005 by . Quote
blk02banshee Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Here's a stock one...sorry about the size... I agree with "." , they do look a lot like boyesens. My old boyesens were the same color. Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 i can tell you right now, i have a used set of stockers (bet the family dog on it) that looks totally diffrent then the ones you have, they are a greenish yellowish just like the ones in the picture, probably from the gas going through it all the years. I thought my stock banshee reeds were a yellowish green, too, until I dug up that picture. Quote

Rare Scottish Tree Badger Posted May 10, 2005 Author Report Posted May 10, 2005 Maybe I should just email the guy I got the bike from and ask him. I don't think these reeds were ever white 'cos I just stripped them down, cleaned them up, and put them back together. ... I'm positive that if they had ever been white, it would have showed up where the reeds are trapped between the cage and the stopper at the base where the screws are. Rare. Quote
Rare Scottish Tree Badger Posted May 11, 2005 Author Report Posted May 11, 2005 Thanks for trying freestyler, but your pics were too dark to make anything out. ... Nice clean carbs tho'. One last point I'll make is that if I hold them to the light, I can see hundreds of tiny squares (squares with circles in them???) running horizontally and vertically. Rare. Quote
