jonnyrebel2004 Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 I have thinking about have Passion Racing Engines install a 12 port stroker kit. I have an eric gorrs woods port job with a lightened flywheel and +4 timing. I low the low end torque but I am having to rebuild the motor so I thought I might have them do it. How do yall like this port job? Is it mostly high end? Thanks Travis Quote
bkabina Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 No it's not mostly high end.I loved my old 12 port and plan on getting another.I had the recreational 12 port 4mill and used it for drag racing.I was very pleased because I was running right with the fully drag ported 7mill motors.Jim now has a newer design 12 port than the one I had and I am going to have him do another set for me so I can put together another trail bike. If you have any questions just PM me. Quote
baddboyy21 Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 I have the Passion 12-port Hot MX stroker. Im running 18cc domes and it has a lot of low end torque. It was basically set up for more top end as opposed to low end. Quote
wesw Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 i have jims motor, in the trails it will pull itself easy in sec going thru the tight stuff in the dunes. it not in the powerband either, cause when it hits that, it better be in a straight cause it makes for a really scary ride. it depends on what setup you have. a drag port isnt going to have a bunch of low end. but his dune port or what ever i have works great. rebelbanshee2 Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 I am pleased as punch with my Passion 12 port +4. It has decent (incredible power for a Banshee) power OFF the pipe!! I can actually torque it up a hill off the pipe. After that the power comes suprisingly smooth and just keeps on puuullllllliinnnngggg!!!!!! Awsome woods engine. Inredible low end with more than enough top end for the open spaces. Quote

Try that with a stock motor. Quote
