Banshee~ Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Some sit on the bars and put there feet on the bumper. While sitting I grip the seat with my knees and hit the brakes and lean forward at the same time. Quote
XxMeltIcexX Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 I'd be afraid of it coming down on top of me! Quote
chris642 Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 i dont like doing them with the banshee because of the pipes, i bet its not even possible with rocket pipes. i used to do them sometimes, just gotta not be scared to go over the bars. i would slam on the front brakes in second gear and get it up pretty high. Banshee17Racing Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 It all depends on what you're trying to do it on. I was getting 'em pretty high with my t-5's in some grass/dirt. I really wouldn't wanna try with some big ass rockets. I sucked at 'em until I learned how to use my hips. I slam my hips into the bars when I grab my brakes and the back end comes right up. (I would be careful trying this on pavement) Quote
bansheefreestyler Posted May 6, 2005 Author Report Posted May 6, 2005 ya i can sometimes get em high on dirt but usually just half a foot. if i do it on pavement i can get em prettyu high but i wanna be able to get em a good height on grass. thanks for all the help guys Quote
03bansheeLE Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 im not a professional or anything at this but i can do them and the trick is to bring it up slow but this is usually only possible on pavement. You lean forward a lot and tap the front brake, then tap it again harder and then once more even harder and hold down (this is what i do) and if you do it correctly, then the bike should come up just fast enough that you have control, not violently or anything. As long as you dont come up to fast and get enough momentum, then even if you do go to far, the front bumber will hit and stop you from flipping, because the banshee has a low center of gravity. take note this is on a stock banshee with a stock bumber and any modifications to the banshee's dimensions will affect the outcome. wantinashee Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 practice and youll get em. put your shock to the softest setting and try different ways of bringin it up. i just nail the breaks and push down on the bars and it works for me Quote
bansheefreestyler Posted May 6, 2005 Author Report Posted May 6, 2005 ya that was when i first started trying was half a foot. i can do em like that tapping the breaks good on my bike but on my quad its way diff. i thought it would be pretty similar. ill see what i can do with a lil more practice. im going riding all day tomorrow so it shall bring some endos im sure Quote
markzx7 Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 just put your legs over the handle bar and hit the brake your feet will catch you if you go to far, practice makes perfect i can roll it about 10 to 15 feet like this at about 11 oclock Quote
