Rare Scottish Tree Badger Posted May 5, 2005 Report Posted May 5, 2005 59 36 is wrong 365202[/snapback] I'll second that. .... 59 lb/ft (Even if it does say 58 in my 'Yamaha Genuine Service Manual'). Is that a Clymers that says 59? Rare. Quote
. Posted May 5, 2005 Author Report Posted May 5, 2005 good thing I came back up here and checked.....36 did feel a little weak Quote
RNBRAD Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 The Haynes workshop manual has it at 36 ft-lbs. I double checked it. Course that doesn't mean it's correct, I've heard of incorrect torque values listed. If anyone else has the Haynes (2314) 87 to 03 edition may make a note of it. Sorry about that if it's wrong. Quote
. Posted May 6, 2005 Author Report Posted May 6, 2005 huh....thats weird.....haynes is usually pretty good. Thats a pretty important bolt to put the wrong torque numbers on. Quote
