I was looking at some new sliders and rollers the whole deal from tm designs. I seen where they have a case saver made from that plastic I have a metal one and have heard talk of the chain stripping the bolts and still breakijng the case.

Just wanted to know about the tm designs case saver if anyone has run it and how they like it.

I didn't even know they made metal ones. I have one, never had a chain break, but the plastic is that real slippery nylon stuff, I can't imagine a broke chain being able to hook into it at all. Plus it totally fills the cavity.

the ones they do make from metal, are aluminum, not steel, the epoxy ones (i ran one for a year) work just as good, mine took a hit from a chain skipping off and didnt go through the epoxy i think it would take many more hits from chains

I have the UPP set up (rollers, slider, and case saver) they all work great, polyeurethane not plastic. I figure anything in there is going to help save the case from potential damage.
