Can you give some more specifics. Did you happen to just put a clutch in it or anything. That's kind of what happens when the pressure plate isn't lined up with the inner hub, but we need more specifics.

Did it just quit.

Have you been working on it.

Did you jam on the shifter really hard and it quit.

Does the clutch handle pull right.

Ya sorry about that just kinda frustrated , no i was at the dunes and it was runnign fine, next thing i know my friend comes walking back and says my shee broke down, so we pull it to camp... thinking that its in neutral cause its coasting fine.. he tells me that he was just ridding it then he started coasting and came to a stop when he was in gear reving it up it wouldnt go.. the clutch lever works fine and everything.. i also changed the gear saver two rides ago

If the clutch handle seems really soft he may have welded the ball to the pushrod and it's holding the clutch open.

Does the shifter feel right or does it not click.

The lever feels fine but the shifter is pretty soft it will go up and down pretty good.. and its like its always in neutral but it was in a gear when he stopped, supposively.

I'd start by pulling the clutch cover...

Hopfully you find the adjuster tightened itself up or something simple. I hope it's not internal or you'll have to split the cases. Maybe the shift shaft claws aren't engaging the shift star. Good luck.

If there is anymore info post it. I'm sure someone will chime in.

Oh, and welcome to bhq.

Personally, I'd make my buddy get involved! Your type of problem is why I loan the toys out less and less as I get older. Good luck, man!

yeah, you hate to tell a friend no, but damn that kind of shit gets old! 90% of the time when something of mine got broken, it was someone else that did it. banghead so i put an end to the lending deal long ago. those situations can turn a good friendship sour too.

im with rod, pop off the clutch cover and see what you got, maybe the peice that rides on the shift star popped so far off its not grabbing anything, not even the pegs, or maybe the shift star came undone? def check teh clutch side first.
