Killdmycobra Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 I have done a little searching and i plan on doing some mods all at one time. I plan on getting the NOSS head with 21cc domes (i'm at sea leve and want pump gas), Dyna CDI, Trinity K&N intake with no lid, some unknown reeds, pro design billet water pump impeller, aftermarket radiator, but i am unsure about which pipe to get. I am leaning towards the rockets, but i also like the T-5's based on what everyone's opinion. Will the Rockets fit the stock fenders, or do they have to be cut??? Someone help me out. Jeff Quote
FIRST BANSHEE Posted April 5, 2005 Report Posted April 5, 2005 you have to trim the stock fenders to fit the rockets. from what i've read if you ride sand at all you want the rockets, but toomeys are a awsome pipe. Quote

I don't feel like cutting the fenders on my new bike. Quote

Both an awesome pipe. Quote
locogato11283 Posted April 5, 2005 Report Posted April 5, 2005 youll be happy with either pipe. ive run both and can tell you they both respond well to porting and other mods. im sure youll eventually cut them fenders and get some porting so why not go with rockets now??? Quote
Toomey Banshee Posted April 6, 2005 Report Posted April 6, 2005 Go with the Rockets or CPI. CPI's you dont have to cut the fenders. GO with the best pipe and you'll port into them. It'll save you time and money in the long run. I have both pipes, (T-5's and CPI's) on the shees here and CPI's are the better of the two, IMHO. Good luck. Quote

You guys know anything about them? 350985[/snapback] I use RDZ pipes(RDZ racing.com)they're made by shearer. They pull extremely well on top end.Cpi makes a good pipe also. For a stock cylinder,I think I'd go with the T-5.Can't comment on the rockets, because I've never tried them.Cut those fenders.
