baddboyy21 Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 I just added some Keihin 34mm PJ's to my 12-port stroker. How do you adjust the throttle cable on the carbs? How much of the spring on the slides can you cut off? Those springs with a push throttle are extremely stiff! Quote
locogato11283 Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 what cable do u have? do u have the steel braided one? if so there is adjustment right down by the carb where the cable goes into the carb tops. screw those in or out. you can prolly cut off about 2 loops on those springs. just make sure u dont cut too much off so that the slides wont go back down. on my 35mm pwk i cut about 2 loops off. baddboyy21 Posted April 4, 2005 Author Report Posted April 4, 2005 I have the steel braided cable by terry cable. I figure about 2 would be the most you could cut off. Thanks, I will give it a try. Quote
