2stroker Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 (edited) Finally got around to doing my plug chop with the T5's. New plug WOT in 6th for about 5 seconds. Looks like it might be a tad lean. But the weather is starting to warm up so I think I'll leave them in. What do you think? Edited March 31, 2005 by 2stroker Quote
TRI-Z 250 Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 (edited) Is the brown ring suppose to be 2mm tall for a perfect main jet? Edited April 1, 2005 by TRI-Z 250 Quote
sredish Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 Doesn't look too bad, I wouldn't mind seeing it a tad darker, but with the weather warming, like you said, it should be fine. Scott Quote

2stroker Posted April 2, 2005 Author Report Posted April 2, 2005 I used a Dremel with a cut-off wheel. Having a vise on the workbench helps. I find it much easier to just cut 'em all off versus cutting just a section. Takes about a minute. Gives you a real good view of the ring. Whats about plug chops for 4-strokes, are they done the same way? If so, what type of ring would I be looking for? Quote
