We were riding today and her bike started to act all weird, so we turned around and headed back to the truck. About a half mile away it just stopped running and seized up. Wouldn't kick over at all. Kicker wouldn't even budge. So towed it back to the truck and tore it down when I got back home. Looks like something happened with the coolant and it leaked out, so it go all hot and seized the left side piston. So now I have to try and find a new piston for her so she can ride with me this weekend. A chunk of the piston right next to the exhaust port broke off and was just sitting in there. Didn't damage the cylinder walls at all though. Have to get it honed though.

Anyone have a 66mm piston/rings I could buy off them or have a used one?

sounds alot like a water impeller /seal problem caused a seizure for you. play the hero

and make her do explicit favors to rebuild it for her ,even though it was probably your fault ,trick her into thinking it was something she did

Wasn't her impeller. Didn't ever notice any leaks of coolant before this ride. I checked the impeller and it was working alright. I have her engine tore down right now, and I'm looking for a cheap piston & rings so I can get her running before easter weekend.
