white trash Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 (edited) Where can I get some nice pipe clamps for my new shearers? I guess that is what they are called.... the little clamp thing that goes where the pipe / stinger connect. Started her for the first time today and i have a leak there. Ive seen some around but none of them say the I.D... Are most pipes the same size therefore making the clamps universal? Thanks ahead of time Edited March 18, 2005 by white trash shee rider Quote
Duninshee Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 I would just say go to the local hardware store and pick out some hose clamps you like. Unless you are looking for some specil type. Quote
Ducman Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 chozenperformance.com makes some nice looking billet pipe seals. They are on page 5 or 6 of the banhsee parts on the website. They won't list a size for shearer but if you measure them and call them up I'm sure they have a size that will fit. I had to trim the stinger tube about 1/2" to make the spacing to the silencer mount work on my rockets. And, no, many diferent brands of pipes use different diameter stinger tubes. My rockets are way bigger than the FMF's I had. Quote

chevyboy51 Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 A cheap way that i use as long as you want function not bling is straight rad hose like they use on big trucks with hose clamps. I use goodyear highmiler hose since i had it at the shop already which seems to be working good Quote

Mee too! I just did mine last week, although I think it was pneumatic hose that I used. ... Worked a treet. Rare. Edited March 19, 2005 by rare_scottish_tree_badger Quote
