Ok, this is kinda goofy but I need some advice from you lady riders out there. I bought my wife a blaster to get her into riding, she always talks about how she wants to learn how to ride streetbike and usually sounds interested in quads. Couldn

Ones my mother and ones my fiancee. Tell he rnot to worry about the back brake hell 90% of the time I never use mine. I'd wear a knee brace or some ace on the knee just incase she does fall off though. Getting hurt is easier if the part has already been injured once.

They both love to ride the quads. Hell my mother is bugging the shit outta me to ride my shee again. But now its all decked out Idont know if she can handle it.

Thanks!! Yeah, I made the mistake of letting my step son ride my banshee, ONCE.

He cartwheeled it!! Bent the axle and frame and all kinds of damage.

I told him to take it easy, a banshee will eat your lunch if you don't respect it.

You might invest in some good nerfs and heel guards...on some polaris bikes they have the front and back brake put on the same lever where the normal front brake would be.

actually I have nerfs on it, and coincidently my banshee has that single lever brake set up and I had thought about doing that and converting it to hydraulic on the blaster but I have no idea where to get that type of set up because I bought my banshee like that already, 5 years ago.

Man i had a 200sx atc you know the one with no shocks well my old lady was rideing it the very first time some how sliped off the seat and it ran her leg over she was a little scared after that but i just told her shit happens and to get back on it. but make sure she know she not out there to prove anything and tell her she needs to go at her own speed and pace when learning and go riding at places that are wide open. i.e. so she dont hit anything.

My wife grew up racing and riding mc's. She's from a big motorcycle racing family. So everytime she gets on my shee or a mc, she scares the living shit outa me. I think it's great when she rides but I just can't bear to watch. She can wheelie my banshee way farther than me. She just needs to stick to the kids quads. :D

my wife rides a 04 blaster ,never really had alot of experiance on quads ,in 30 minutes she had the clutch and shifting figured out pretty darn good ,our atvs have made us closer and given us a new way to share some fun we both enjoy together, a women often gets all hot and bothered after riding atvs so its a nice double bonus too :D

The brake is on the right. So is the kicker. Will that tendon injury strand her if she stalls or stops and has to kick it? Most 'Shees and Blasters start easy when warm but it still takes at least one kick.

If you go to public riding areas just keep her close by. The power of one cute woman among two-hundred already macho and competitive guys is always funny to watch.

Come to think of it... she won't have any trouble getting someone to actuate that kicker for her...

I've decided for starting it she'll just have to learn how to kick it over with the other leg if it hurts too much but she probably wouldn't really go off riding without me with her anyway so I'll probably always be there.

and besides that yeah, she could definitely attract some guys to help her out cause she is very good looking, watch my post " in the operating room" and you'll eventually see her. :headbang:

Just tell her that every time you go riding alone all the hot chicks want to ride with you and it makes you uncomfortable. If that doesn't give her motivation to be there with you nothing will.
