Capone Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 I just noticed when reading my Clymers Manual that when I put my clutch back together I put the ball & pushrod in backwards, ball first, pushrod second. The clutch still works ok, but I'm adjusting the clutch lever, and the release lever on the cases. I was just wondering if this could cause a problem later on, or if I should take it all back apart and fix it. Thanks Quote
cb67rs1 Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 the shaft will weld to the adjustment shaft and fock you shit up , you need the ball in the middle of the two or get the bearing washer mod. Quote

frocashmoney24 Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 a few companies sell them, its a bearing so that the 2 will never weld together. If you do seem to weld them together, i got a new rod and ball ill sell ya cheap. Quote
