I have pc pipes and looking to get some v force reeds and K&N filter, it is ported and bore out bout .60 when i do it again! stock crabs other mods are basically looks oh yeah the head is plained?? i know i will have to rejet but will i need a noss head or have to buy bigger carbs i know the bigger carbs would definatly complimant my mods but are they necessary? O r do you know of any problems i may run into buy doing this? How reliable is it going to be? Any info will help! Thanx Jay 335091[/snapback] you have three choices run a spacer plate, have stock head milled for stroker$100 ,or buy cool head with cut domes $300 to acomodate the stroker.Then the set up will change your porting,depends which way you go. I would say stay away from spacer plate.definetly advnce the timing for more top end power.stock carbs work better than most people give credit for,but you will need big jets. Like 400 - 460. If jetted right it will last you a long time.what is you current porting for? Quote
