theeechozen1 Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 I bought that huge K&N filter from Packard like you suggested, and it's too long to run without hitting my overflow tank. How did you mount your overflow? Quote

How did you mount your overflow? 334850[/snapback] I wouldn't take it off, just relocate it. Cotton Eyed Joe makes a overflow bottle relocation bracket and sells thim off of his site. You could either PM him or purchase one off his site...either way, it's the better way to go. http://www.dunedevilinc.com/index.php?action=parts It's about 5/8 of the way down the page, on the left. locogato11283 Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 take it off you dont need it. its a worthless piece of shit that clutters up the banshee. Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 Mine is mounted in the front of the bike, sorry man forgot all about that, (been there for years...) Quote
theeechozen1 Posted March 7, 2005 Author Report Posted March 7, 2005 I thought about just taking one of the bolts out of the relocation bracket and swinging it the side up against the frame but It might look cheezey. Do you just run the overflow line out in front of the swingarm with the carb vents? Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 My overflow dumps out by the LF lower control arm. Bottle is mounted behind the radiator under the coil. Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 Here is a picture of the filter installed and a bracket I made to support the rear of the filter. Quote
theeechozen1 Posted March 7, 2005 Author Report Posted March 7, 2005 cool thanks for the help bro...I didn't think that filter was as big as it is from looking at the pic of your set-up...fuggers massive! Dennis said he gets another 3 ponies out of his bikes using these. Quote
