I'm thinking about getting some new tires. I run Bandit 6 ply's right now but would like to try something new. I rides harsh trails, rocks, and junk in the ditches. I think these are my best options. I really have no complaints with the Bandits but thought I'd try some of the newer tires. I need grip on the loose rocks and muddy trails and puncture resistance.

Any other options would be great too. I will be running a 20" tall tire and can run either a 9 or 10 in rear rim.

I would go with the Razr's over the Holeshots. Dont have experience with the tires but I was feeling the lugs on the HD's and they are really soft.

My next rear tire is going to be either the Razr2's (when I get my -1 on if my holeshots hook up), or a set of 20" blackwaters. <~~~tires are badass, and have a tonnnn of bite for a long time after the edges wear off unlike holeshots with a stock swingarm setup they just want to spin.

i have run my holeshot hds on my 450 for quite a while now. i ride alot of rocky and rutted trails. they show no signs of wear. the lugs are soft but they last. i dont know how youd ever puncture one of these tires. they are very beefy. i would recommend them for sure. i do have a set for sale but shipping would be insanely high. id rather someone meet me somewhere or pick them up. i personally have run razr 2s and i thought they wore really fast.

Which ones weigh more? The Holeshots or The Razr2's? The Bandits I have wear really well but don't grip very well. The kind of riding I do is on "ground" just like that good ol' Missouri rock.

HD's weigh more no doubt. they are a heavy ass tire. what are you putting these tires on? im not so sure HD's would be that great for a banshee but they are perfect for a 4 stroker. if you are lookin for something for a banshee i would check into kenda knarly or klaw. they both hook unreal with the nod going to the knarly. and they are 6 ply and much cheaper than HD's.

I know the bandits are heavy but I don't remember how much. I'll be running them on my banshee. Basically I'm looking for these 3 in order #1 Durability, #2 Lightness, #3 Grip.

The R/A Shedders by gbc are awsome tires. For the price, you can't beat them.

i would really give the kenda knarly a try. they are 6 ply, pretty damn light and hook very very well. plus they are cheaper than the others.

You weren't kidding. The HD's are 20 lbs and the Bandits, Razr2's and Knarly's are 13-14lbs.
