g_low0885 Posted February 27, 2005 Report Posted February 27, 2005 i am going to build either a +4 or +7 long rod moter my question is the +7 going to have to be rebuilt more often. i read somewhere that you are suposed to rebuild the cheeta after 200 gallons of gas is that the case if you used +7 or +4? 1800bigk Posted February 27, 2005 Report Posted February 27, 2005 200 gallons is a long time, when you rebuild a cheetah you just replace the pistons and rings, you dont send it away for a bore and hone. Quote
wesw Posted February 27, 2005 Report Posted February 27, 2005 +7 dont you have to machine the cases to get it to work my advice get a +4 will work easier my guess Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 27, 2005 Report Posted February 27, 2005 +7 are more expensive to build. it requires trenched cases and a much more expensive crank. +4 is the most economical way to go... Quote
g_low0885 Posted February 28, 2005 Author Report Posted February 28, 2005 will the + 7 give very much more power over the +4 Quote
1800bigk Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 (edited) will the + 7 give very much more power over the +4 331203[/snapback] yes. go to www.planetsand.com and do a search about 7 mil cheetah dyno runs. the 7 mil makes over 100 rwhp on gas easy Edited March 1, 2005 by 1800bigk Quote
