I was just out on the banshee and after a few minutes of riding couldnt even feel my fingers they were so cold!!! I have like 3 different pairs of snowmobile gloves and none of them work for shit. You'd think a glove made for snowmobiling would be a little warmer but i guess not. I was just wonder what kinda gloves you guys wear?? Any recomendations on what to get would be nice because i like being able to feel my fingers when i go riding!!! Thanks

I would like to reccomend against (if that makes any sense) the MSR Windbreaker gloves. The block the wind GREAT and are waterproof, but when it comes down to it, they just arent warm. Just remember that it doesnt matter how warm a glove is, if the wind gets thru youre gonna be freezing :)

When i snowboard i find that mittens are almost always warmer than gloves, but it may not be worth the geek-factor :shrugani:

I would have to agree about the mittens. But I just got a new set of winter gloves from Menards that are friqqin' awesome! A buddy of mine was riding with them when we were on a frozen lake and said he loves 'em, so that night I went and got myself a pair for $5!! Last year I had a set of deerskin-wool mittens, but I hated the feel of the bars. I also wore really thick leather gloves...but they were so thick I'd get bad arm-pump. To be honest, I've only been through 4 or 5 winters on a quad but these $5 gloves are BY FAR the best pair of gloves I've tried.

I would say snowboarding gloves. Some even come with a rubber goggle wiper for your goggles and have rubber on the top so wind doesn't blow through. I need new gloves to.

WalMart has a pair of leather gloves with 100gram thinsulate for 8 bucks.

I got the xxl and they work perfect with my normal riding gloves on first, then the walmart leather ones over top of them, the movement with them isnt perfect, but is easy to get used to, and they seem to keep my hands pretty warm during the really cold days.
