Oil In silencers

I Have A 2002 Banshee Both Silencers Have Puddles of Oil In Them. I took them off and drained them and there was a thinned gas/oil mixture. Never seen this on a 2-stroke before. Anybody have this problem or know what it is????? There is a large amount of oil. Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!

Maybe your bike is running too rich or your oil/gas ratio is too high. I would lean more towards a jetting problem. All 2-strokes have a little bit of oily substance in the exhaust, it shouldn't be excessive though.

Thanks for The Reply Big Red. I just bought this Banshee, ive owned a blaster since 1990 and never had any problems like this. It blows oil all over the swingarm and ground weird shit.

What oil mixture are you running? And whats your jetting at?

If your blowing oil on to your swing arm you may have your oil seals going bad. I had the same exact problem and i thought my jetting was bad but it was my oil seals instead.

Thanks For The Reply. I am a new Banshee owner so i was just going by what yamaha reccomended. I thought that was a pretty rich oil mixture also.
