This is my first post on this site and i would like to know if anyone knows has a tach on their banshee and how to hook it up (wiring) aswell as wut kind is it.

Thanks, i do hold her wide open dont worry, im just curious to wut rpms im revving a certain times, i know she probably tops at about 10,000 to 11,000 rpm

I have yet to find a tach for a two-stroke twin. Dunno how you would hook it up and get accurate readings if it was a digital one. I hate those. I would think you could only get a reading off one cylinder, and even then it would read double what any normal tach was designed for. (4-stroke)

All snomobile 2 stroke twins have tachs , i no my niehbors 700 probably dosnt turn out the revs the 350 does becuase i no my banshee revs out twice as quick as his sled but still his tach goes up to like 14000 and the thing idles at 4000 which is like redline for my truck

I remember stumbling across a tach once that was made just for a banshee. It was an analog tach that went to either 11 or 12K, and mounted on your handelbars. I thought it was cool till i saw the price tag of $380 :whoa::shootself:

I wanna say that it has a max of either 13 or 19,000. you can also get a shift light on these no need for that..........just listen to that bitch purrr and look whats coming next at 90 MPH :o
