anyone live around wilkes barre pa

i cant get my banshee to run right, and its getting on my nerves, anyone live around wilkes barre pa and wants to try to fix my shee, ahahaha the stealer ship costs to much.... please help i just cant fig it out, i dunno if its not getting spark ot wtf is wrong, and when it does run, it iwll just run all goood, and then just acts like i hit the kill switch, and wooooooommmp, and stalls, and the only way to get it started is to put gas directly into the cylanders, and thats how i hadda start it before 2.....now that doesnt work, i jut did a rebuild not more thatn 4 hrs ago....

Sounds like an intermittent electrical problem maybe. While you are busy

"putting gas directly into your cylinders", the faulty component cools and

works again temporarily. Get a hold of another cdi and try that first...

if your compression is good and putting gas in the cylinder does not work.

Check all of your connections real good too. Take off the stator cover

and make sure no wires are pinched.

I live in Lansdale, PA Right down the Northeast extension, maybe 5-10 minutes from exit. If you wanna bring it down here one of these days we can see if we can get it running.

 

My garage isnt that setup yet....but I can move some stuff out of the way and get us a decent work area probably.

 

what years your shee, hows the wiring look on it? If your gonna bring it down, leave all the plastic off it, dont even worry about the seat, we can clip mine on if we need to.

 

I'm usually home by 1:30 or so but my truck is gonna be down all next week so I might be getting done a little later at work. I dont have a phone or anything, you dont happen to have a nextel do you? If not we can set something up for a saturday or sometime during the week that I know how things will be rolling.

 

Parking brake or tors connected at all? Little black box in front of fuel petcock unplugged?

I live in scranton and if you wanna drive a little theres a guy who lives buy me who is really really fairly priced, hes a two stroke engine mechanic, he may be a little busy becuase hes a one man show but you get your quad back fixed and you still got some money left in your wallet. I work in Wilkes barre. What end are you from? Maybe I can stop by and check er out. I may have a spare coil for you to try. As far as the cdi , I don't have a spare but if that were the problem, I know where to get one at reasonable price used. PM me and I'll see what I can do to help. I hate problems like that !
