Dr Sheevil Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 If it becomes a four stroke, im buying a 400ex. Nuff Said Quote
bansheefreak Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 keep the look the same .. and give it a powervalved motor and fix the airbox, chain adjustment.and maybe some diff shocs.. Quote
Screamin_Demon Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I say change the design... not so much the plastics or anything... mainly the suspension, swingarm, chain adjustment...... and stop making them stock with such shitty tires!!!! Could use some work on the stock engine as well... better air box, better pipes, etc. Not all of us have the cash to go swap the crappy stock parts with high performance ones  Quote
Screamin_Banshee Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Fix the airbox set-up, chain adjustment, and DIFFERENT TIRES! Quote
xmx Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Change frame design, not looks, shocks, swingarm, airbox, powervalve would be nice Quote
BenBB Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I think they should keep building them until the very last second (whenever the EPA sez no more 2-strokes in production). While I wish they would go out with a bang (powervalves, front end geometry, round housing swingarm, killer shox, decent airbox/filter setup, no lights or anything; pure race machine like the dirt bikes), I don't see it happening. Either way I think they should just retire the Banshee name, nothing else can scream like it. Being Yamaha, they should take a hint from the Banshee's success and stick a high-hp street bike motor in a quad frame to dominate the open class (kinda like what they did with the Raptor, but better); like a V-Max mill or (drool) an R1...oh yeah, and build a damn good MXer around that thumper F motor. 2002bansheeman Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 It wouldn't hurt my feelings if they came with a 525 powervalve motor darg pipes, alky carbs, and extended swingarm with a roundhouse carrier. Oh yeah marvin shaw shocks wouldn't hurt nothing either. Quote
MULLET~BOY Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 i would be happy if the would just put a round housing swingarm on it and change the carbs to like 28's Quote
WickedBanshee Posted January 2, 2003 Report Posted January 2, 2003 500cc powervalved 2 stroke twin. Quote
98modifiedblaster and 97banshee Posted January 2, 2003 Report Posted January 2, 2003 put in a bigger power valved motor... man that would rock!!!!!!!! Quote
