The SRP box is not made by SRP, just like pretty much all of the $99 boxes people sell on Ebay. It is made in China for Procom. It has a single timing curve. The Dyna box has 4 timing curves that can be selected with a switch mounted on the quad. It has a much hotter spark. The 4 different curves give you a few choices to work with to match your mods. Or you(or your engine shop) can reprogram the Dyna to match your mods. It has a launch limiter control, and also has outputs to control things like nitrous, shift lights, or power jets(useful if you swap out your carbs for a power jet carb). Brad Quote
SANDSTAR Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 My dyna fs works great. I can switch between the 3 pre programed curves by taking off my seat and hittin a little switch. It has a bunch of leads coming off of the box for control of extra additions if you need them later on. Quote
MeanHoTRoD_93883 Posted February 5, 2005 Report Posted February 5, 2005 (edited) DYNATEK IS MORE REPUTABLE AND ITS BETTER QUALITY PRODUCT AND IT HAS A BETTER BRAND IMAGE The Dyna box has 4 timing curves that can be selected with a switch mounted on the quad. InFlames Posted February 5, 2005 Report Posted February 5, 2005 If you can spare the extra cash for the Dyna ignition then by all means do it! You will notice the improvement. Quote
