05bansh Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 You dont need pipes. just think without pipes you will be that much lighter for hucking your backflip....... Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 Maybe you should huck your hucking backflip and see if you need new pipes after you land? Quote

bigboybanshee Posted February 2, 2005 Report Posted February 2, 2005 You don't need any mods w/ the PTR's. My original setup was w/ a head mod, +4 timing, and boysen petals and it was running perfect...315164[/snapback] If that's the case then I wasn't pleased in the end with my PT's...they did pull hard on the bottom but they seemed to lose power too soon in the RPM's for my liking Using advice I had received from another member on here, I was going to get porting and carbs and see if that helped but if what I got before isn't gonna get significantly better after porting and carbs, then I'm just sticking with my T5's... After hearing this...I'd keep your fatties bansheefreestyler Quote

Don't pick a midrange pipe and expect it to turn up to 9000rpms..And vise versa, don't get a high rev pipe and expect low end or port it for low end..You like the high revving peaky pipes, thats fine, but that won't do a freestyler much good...
