racer Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 i run the 22's. im not sure if there really is a big variation i performance, i just like the look of the bigger rubbers. Quote
Big Blue Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 21x7x10 skat trak mohawks 309704 Same thing i run, Im not sure which size is better but i prefer the look of the 21's over 22's. Quote
ledofthezep Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 21x7x10 skat trak mohawks 309704 Werd. Quote
Leadfoot350 Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 skat tracks are the lightest ones. I have some single rib ones 22 inch size and they weigh 3lbs more each. Get the mohawks where they buff the tire all the way around so it matches the rear look. Quote
NugShee Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 Im running those new sand stars that have the double rib going down them. Personally I think they are light and all but there is probably a front tire out there that will grip better Quote
Lepew Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 21x8x10 or 22x8x10 is there a difference? What is the pros or cons? 309639 The larger tire should "float" more. It is really mostly "the look man". I have ran both. I like the solid rib style like dune runners in a 21". They are more weight but they respond faster when you turn the bars. Quote
Leadfoot350 Posted January 28, 2005 Report Posted January 28, 2005 I have had dune trackers and mohawks and I dont notice any difference at all. Quote
slowpokebanshee Posted January 28, 2005 Report Posted January 28, 2005 can't lose with 22's..... extra inch helps with less than exotic suspension, I used to run the 21x7x10 smooth buffs, looks sweet, don't turn for nothin', really like the 22x8x10 ribbed for her pleasure. Quote
Wallrat Posted January 28, 2005 Report Posted January 28, 2005 Take a golfball and roll it across the sand. Now take a basketball and do the same thing. The larger the diameter, the lower the resistance. This is especially true in sand. I personally run the sand stars all around...great tires! Quote
