Banchetta Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 took off my carb boots and saw there was no gate on that side of the piston bad news is i fixed that problem cranked it up and it ran but wouldn't rev very high then it died and wouldn't start back up, got fuel, got spark and compression so i don't know what the hell is the deal.i'm really fed up and i wish i had never bought this thing i have had it about 6 months and have only ridden it 3 times loved it when i was riding it but hate it now 302907[/snapback] Thats the price you pay when you buy any atv, but once you go through the whole shee and fix everything, then she'll treat you right, but you must fix EVERYTHING.. joshv5.0 Posted January 8, 2005 Author Report Posted January 8, 2005 (edited) Did you put the rings in right? 303071[/snapback] yea they are all in right, and i went and cranked it today by holding the throttle wide open. i was pissed because it sounded perfect but kept hesitating so finally i just laid into it and it sputtered and poped then BAM it just pulled like a freight train. ran great, only thing now is its still smoking alot at idle and half throttle and my half throttle has shitty throttle responce but pulls great up top. did a full throttle plug check and my plugs look a little on the rich side but about where i would want them to be. i think i need to change the clip position and maybe the pilot jet, but i think the main is dead on so i think i need to still play with the jetting and i think its all gonna be alright boy it felt great to hear that thing hit the powerband and have the wind peel my eye lids back Edited January 8, 2005 by joshv5.0 Quote
