I had by banshee for about 2 years, and have about 1800 miles on it. Is it time to replace the rings and run a compression check? If not when. Thanks for the help ;)

How many hours of riding did it take to log that many miles? I would definitely say it is time for new rings and pistons for sure. I'm very curious to know what shape they are in after that many miles , so when you do tear it down let me know what the rings look like.

I'm not sure on the hours, 2 weeks a month for two dune seasons, probally around 80-100 hours.

Yeah I'll be sure to send you some pics, I wouldn't probally tear it down till march.<_<

do a compression test, that'll tell you the truth

yep. id do that first. then if youre too low on comrpession then do a rebuild. does it not feel as snappy as it used to?
