I am running 34 mm Pj Carbs. I foul my left plug when I ride for a while at 1/4 throttle. I know this means I need smaller size pilots, but my question is, if I go down on the pilots on the right side too, will this cause a lean condition for the right cylinder? I have always kept jetting changes the same on both carbs, but I was toying around the idea of only dropping pilot size on the left, as the right side seems to be spot-on. This is probably a bad idea, but I am just tryin' to think of best way to solve the problem.

Make sure your carbs are sync'd perfectly and check compression of both cylinder. Low compression can cause fouling which will be more likely to manifest itself at lower rpm's. Check these before making any carb changes.

I agree 100% most likely compression.

Keep them both the same and look at the plug color, if they are different then you might have an air leak or other problem. We need a little more info.
